  • Joint Venture to Break Ground on 873-Bed Community Near Texas A&M University

    COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Student Housing Business)—A joint venture between Harrison Street, The Dinerstein Cos., and Up Campus Student Living is set to break ground on an 873-bed student housing development near the Texas A&M University campus in College Station. Dubbed Aspire A&M, the community will be situated within the city’s Northgate neighborhood and will rise 19 stories.

  • Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund (TSIF) Applications

    TSIF is a new incentive program to encourage the continued leadership of Texas in semiconductor research, design and manufacturing. The TSIF will provide grants and matching funds to eligible entities for semiconductor research, manufacturing and design projects. Eligible entities include state entities, including institutions of higher education, and private businesses planning new or expanded semiconductor manufacturing and design projects.

  • TEDC Recognizes 2023 Economic Excellence Recognition Recipients

    The Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) announced the recipients of its annual Economic Excellence Recognition program for 2023. The awards were presented on Friday, February 23rd, during the TEDC’s 2024 Winter Conference in San Antonio, Texas. Among the 72 economic development organizations that received the TEDC’s recognition was the City of College Station’s Economic Development & Tourism department.
