College Station Independent School District


The College Station Independent School District has a strong tradition of academic achievement and preparing students for success beyond graduation. Niche gives CSISD an A+ overall rating, ranking it #22 among the Best School Districts in Texas and #19 among the Best School Districts for Athletes in Texas. The district also maintains a 94.7% graduation rate, exceeding the state average, and earned a B (83) overall rating in the latest Texas accountability rankings.

CSISD continues to expand innovative, career-focused learning opportunities with the opening of its new Career & Technical Education (CTE) Center in 2026. The state-of-the-art facility provides high school students with hands-on training using industry-standard equipment, labs and workspaces in agricultural mechanics, automotive technology, construction, cosmetology, welding, and animal and wildlife science. Students can earn valuable industry certifications and, in some programs, work toward the requirements needed for state licensure, creating pathways to enter the workforce directly after graduation or continue their education. The CTE Center allows students to pursue specialized career training while remaining enrolled and involved in academics, athletics, fine arts and other activities at their home high schools.

Blinn College


Blinn College is a nationally recognized community college and workforce training provider that plays a vital role in developing the regional talent pipeline. Ranked No. 1 in Texas for academic transfer rates, Blinn helps students seamlessly continue their education through strong partnerships with universities, including Texas A&M University. The college offers industry-aligned programs in healthcare, manufacturing, information technology, skilled trades, and other high-demand fields, ensuring graduates are workforce-ready.

Through its Corporate College, Small Business Development Center, dual-credit partnerships, and workforce training initiatives, Blinn collaborates closely with employers and school districts to meet evolving industry needs. The college has also earned statewide recognition for its workforce development efforts, including the Texas Workforce Commission All-Star College Award, making it a key contributor to the skilled workforce that supports business growth in College Station and the surrounding region. A new partnership with College Station ISD prepares students for technology careers while earning both a high school diploma and workforce credentials through P-TECH and Early College Programs.

Texas A&M University


We are home of Texas A&M University, one of the largest public universities in the nation, one of the few to have land, sea, and space-grant designations, and an annual budget of $7.3 billion. Through a statewide network of 11 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, Texas A&M – Fort Worth and Texas A&M RELLIS, the Texas A&M System educates more than 165,000 students and makes more than 25.3 million additional educational contacts through service outreach programs each year.  System-wide, research and development expenditures exceed $1.5 billion and help drive the state’s economy.
