Two weeks out, College Station preps for major sports weekend

The City of College Station is preparing for thousands of people to inundate the city as two major sporting events converge on Texas A&M’s campus.

On June 6, College Station will roll out the red carpet for the USA Track and Field Lone Star Grand Prix and the Argentina versus Honduras Road to 26 soccer match at Kyle Field. Jeremiah Cook, Assistant Director of Tourism for Visit College Station, said these events will boost the city’s economy.
