College Station city council approves baseball complex letter of intent, adopts economic development plan
The College Station City Council approved a letter of intent Thursday with The Station Baseball LLC for a proposed baseball and softball complex in the Midtown Business Park, marking the first formal step toward a potential economic development agreement.
The project, formerly known as Southern Roots, would bring nine synthetic turf fields, including a championship-level stadium, along with hospitality amenities such as cabins, RV spaces, and recreational facilities. Developers estimate the complex would generate $28 million in annual economic impact.
