Junior Olympics predicted to bring $10M to College Station economy

Over 9,000 athletes are coming from across the nation to College Station next week to test their skills in the Junior Olympics, bringing large economic benefits for the city in a month that is typically much slower.

The 2024 National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships run from July 22-28 at Texas A&M University’s E.B. Cushing Stadium. From 100-meter hurdles to pole vaulting, a variety of track and field events will be held. Being a Junior Olympics tournament, all participants are age 17 or younger with one category including children 8 and under.
