Nature.com, 24/7 Wall St. projects College Station as America’s No. 3 boomtown in the coming decades. The review lists 31 cities with populations of at least 100,000 that will double by 2100.
The review predicts College Station’s population will reach 207,315 by 2050 and 377,237 by 2100.
Texas has the most cities on the list at 14. No other state has more than three.
