In this week's episode of "What's Up, College Station?", Capt. Stuart Marrs from the College Station Fire Department discusses the daily lives of firefighters, tips for keeping your family safe during the holidays, and how College Station has evolved over the years.

At 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, State Highway 6 and its access roads will be briefly closed in both directions between Southwest Parkway and Harvey Road. The closure is expected to last no more than an hour as crews address conflicts with electric infrastructure related to the SH6 widening project.

From imaginative floats to energetic performances, participants delivered holiday magic at every turn in the 2025 College Station Christmas Parade. Their creativity and enthusiasm created a joyful celebration that brought smiles to thousands lining the parade route.
