Princeton Review, NerdWallet rank College Station among best in U.S.

College Station is among the nation’s top 10 cities for work-life balance and for great “town-gown” relations, according to separate online rankings released this week.

Best Cities for Work-Life Balance

NerdWallet ranked College Station No. 7 among 536 American cities for best work-life balance. NerdWallet, which describes itself as “a consumer-friendly financial literacy website that helps consumers make better decisions about their personal finances and more,” released its rankings Tuesday.

Among the factors analyzed were weekly hours worked, commute time and income/cost of living. College Station was referenced as “a quintessential college town” where workers can “unwind at one of the 52 parks in the city.”

Meanwhile, The Princeton Review released multiple updated rankings for America’s colleges. One of those lists focuses on universities and home cities that have a great “town-and-gown” relationship. Texas A&M/College Station ranked No. 7.
